THE 2023 ANNUAL FAR WEST AUCTION AND RAFFLE
IS COMING TO THE TAHOE CITY YACHT CLUB
FROM 3:30-7 PM ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17TH
The annual Far West Auction and Raffle combines cross-country and camaraderie to get the season started with the kickoff party of the year! Enjoy the company of your fellow Nordic enthusiasts while enjoying a delicious German Holiday Bazaar themed dinner, bid on our silent auction prizes, and enjoy our après ski entertainment. Tickets are $50 for adults and $35 for youth with a $5 discount for Far West members.
The event runs from 3:30 to 7 p.m. with tickets available at the door.
This year’s auction will also have a virtual component, with bidding on an amazing array of items. The online portion of the Far West Auction will open on Dec. 10. And of course, there will be a number of special prizes reserved exclusively for in-person bidding at the main event. So don’t wait, get your tickets today because the 2023 Far West Auction and Raffle will be a sell-out event!

About the Annual Auction & Raffle
Each year we welcome a featured guest speaker to regale our guests with tales from the cross-country ski world. Recent speakers include Olympians and Far West Nordic athletes Hannah Halvorsen and JC Schoonmaker.
The evening affair always features an array of auction items awaiting our guests’ bidding. Take your shot at gift cards for local sports shops and dining experiences, as well as apparel, top-notch gear, and even unique experiences that in the past have included a PistenBully ride-along and guided rock climbing. The auction also has a virtual component, providing the opportunity to preview items and get an early jump on the bidding process. And there’s always a number of hand-selected auction items reserved especially for in-person bidding live on auction night.
Proceeds from the annual auction and raffle benefit Far West Nordic Ski Education Association and our mission to grow the sport of cross-country skiing, which is achieved by helping skiers of all ages and abilities in California and Nevada reach their full potential and through supporting student athletes by helping them achieve their competitive goals. A division of the United States Ski and Snowboard, Far West Nordic is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation.
