| Among the field of participants in the blustery Gold Nuggets race were: Sophie Aaron, Matt Aaron, David Lowe, Sarah Lowe, Jesica Doline, Matthew Doline, Kristof Varga, Stefi Varga, Sarah Blocher, Adam Wright, Bronwyn Case, Gina Crauss, Conrad Krauss, Callan Finnney, Jordan Nadell, Rachell Nadell, Jordan Zwick, Tyler Zwick, Jorodan McElroy, Pam Behnken, Anthony Gee, Daniel Gelso, Megan Fox, Erica Cornell, Haley Licon.
Ages of the participants range from 3 to 12. The fun race included a squirt gun biatholon range, a snowball course, a maze, 'the squeeze' and several exciting finishes.
Yummy cake, hot chocolate and several goodies provided by sponsors - Salomon, Subaru, Fischer were a delight to the racers and cheering crowd.
Just after the race, participants got to meet several of the US Olympic Team members in town for the Gold Rush.
