Western Regional Elite Group (REG) Camp:
Dates: June 20th – June 27th
Open to Far West athletes by INVITATION only – you need to have qualified for this camp via USSA and Junior National Points Rankings. Held in Park City, Utah, this is the premier summer training camp for the best Juniors in the Western Region. Super motivating for the year ahead, this is a must-do camp if you are serious about your summer training and winter goals and have qualified for it. Signups and Payments for this camp will be handled by the organizer themselves, Mike Elliott of the Rocky Mountain Division.

BLISS Lake Tahoe Camp:
Dates: June 23-25, 2015

Open to all Far West juniors age 12 and older. This is a great camp for those of you who have never been to a Far West Camp, but also for experienced racers who want a little extra push and motivation and get a great start to the summer training. Super fun and challenging, right here in our own beautiful backyard—the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Run the Rubicon Trail, Swim in Tahoe, Hike Mt. Tallac or an equivalently incredible peak, Rollerski in Blackwood Canyon. Camp consists of hiking, kayaking, general water mayhem, rollerskiing, technique, and fun. Train with a fun group of athletes and coaches.

Signups will be available soon (Late April/May).

Eastern Sierra “ROCK ‘n ROLL” Camp:
Dates: August 6 – August 9

Formerly the June Lake Camp, we’re re-tooling this trip to make it even MORE fun and rewarding. This year, we’ll be camping in the incredibly-beautiful Rock Creek area at the East Fork Campground, high in the Sierra at 8,800ft. Rock Creek offers fantastic hiking, running, peak bagging, is closer to our usual roller-skiing routes, and Rock Creek Lake for swimming is just a couple of miles up the canyon. We’re looking forward to our new venue!

This camp is great for all Junior Far West skiers aged 13 and up! A super fun and motivating camp for the ‘old hands” to the ‘newbies’, it is the longest running Far West Nordic summer camp for a good reason. It’s all about camping in the beautiful Eastern Sierra near the big mountains (it’s not the same as Tahoe, trust us), swimming in clear, cold lakes, roller skiing on the smooth, low traffic east side roads, and hiking up a huge mountain, the likes of which you won’t find just about anywhere else. Add to this top notch coaching and great camaraderie with your skiing buddies and you’ve got one of the best Nordic ski camps in the West. Get your Nordic game on and sign up for the camp! Skiers of all abilities welcome.

National U-16 Camp:
Dates: July 24 – 31

This is the top camp for U16 athletes in the entire country. By invitation only, just a couple of our U16 skiers will be eligible to go. This year’s camp will be held at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. Athletes will be responsible for their own travel and camp cost arrangements; it is listed here for your planning purposes.

Signups will be available sometime in May.
