If you could have one superhero power, what would it be?
I think it would be really cool to have a mind-reading power, cat-like reflexes, or a mix of the two!
What is something most people can do that you cannot?
Well, I have sort of mastered a spread eagle on Nordic skis…

Most Memorable Far West Experience:
My most memorable Far West experience was after the skate sprint at the 2013 Super JNQ in Soldier Hollow, Utah. Far West had just taken podiums in all four age divisions, with three first place finishes. Afterward, I was able to go around and nearly everywhere I went, from the announcer to groups of parents, everyone was talking about us and how strong our team was this year. l was especially motivated by this.
Best Racing Experience:
My best racing experience was at the skate sprint at the 2013 Soldier Hollow Super JNQ. I had had a very good preliminary and quarterfinal. In my semifinal, I was coming down the big hill in good drafting position and ready to take the lead. However, I was taken out by another competitor and finished last in my heat. In the B final that followed, I managed to break my pole in the first 100 meters. I did get a new pole quickly and hammered the entire course. By the end, I had fought my way back to second place. Though my race was marked with misfortune, I see it in a positive light because of how I managed to stay positive and focused throughout.
If you could have one superhero power, what would it be?
I would choose the power to communicate telepathically. This would prove useful for many situations in which an immediate con-bro-sation is necessary.
What is something most people can do that you cannot?
Something I cannot do is to back down once an argument has been initiated or even hinted at. Even if I am arguing for something I know is incorrect, I will fight for it for an inordinate amount of time.

Most Memorable Far West Experience:
Going to Soldier Hollow for the first time this year was a super cool experience for me and I really got to know all these incredible athletes a lot better. Also, my races in SOHO went a lot better than I had expected.
Best Racing Experience:
My best racing experience (even though I was very angry and annoyed at the time) was definetely the Sugar Bowl school race. At the very start of the race (it was a snowy day) I tried to pass someone on the outiside going down a hill and suddenly found myself face down in the powder. By the time I got up I was some where in 30th place to 40th place. So I got up, fought hard to catch up, almost crashed again, and in the end finished the race in top 10. I was extremely proud of this because I felt like I had really tested my limits like I had never done before and had an end result that I was pretty proud of. I could barely walk after that race.
If you could have one superhero power, what would it be?
To make it winter 12 inches above the ground and anywhere above that, it would be summer and in the 80′s. This way I could still ski but it would still be very warm and yet the snow would be awesome! Of course I could only use this power after it had snowed a good amount otherwise, how would I get it to snow?
What is something most people can do that you cannot?
Sleep in, I cannot sleep in past 7:30 if my life depended on it.

Best Racing Experience:
The Classic Sprint at a JNQ in Farmington, ME. I had made it to the A-Final and went out WAY to hard, and since it was flat pretty much everyone double poled it. I made it until the last straightaway before the finish and just hit a wall, and got passed by 2 people. It was still a really fun race and I learned a lot from it.

Ability to Fly.
What is something most people can do that you cannot?
Whistle. Everyone else in my family can, but I can’t.

I can’t say that I resemble my parents or any of my relatives at all, mostly because I’m Asian and they aren’t.

One Experience ill remember for ever is pulling into the June Lake Camping area four years ago. Austin Meng was blasting Jingle Bells (Basshunter Remix) and the laughs and looks we got rolling through the camp site were unforgettable.
Best Racing Experience:
My best racing experience would probably be my last three years out in Soldier Hollow Utah! I just love the enthusiasm that everyone has down there and everyone is so stoked to race!
