The Canadian Strength Test

  1. Pull-Ups (1 min), Recovery (1 min)
  2. Sit-Ups (1 min), Recovery (1 min)
  3. Push-Ups (1 min), Recovery (1 min)
  4. Box jumps (1 min), Recovery (1 min)
  5. Bench Dips (1 min)

To get a strength score, multiply the number of pull-ups completed by 3, then add that score to the total repetitions completed in the other four exercises.

Meet in the Sugar Bowl Academy parking lot at 9 am. We will go for a warm up run and then get into testing.
NO outdoor running shoes are allowed in the SBA gym, so bring indoor workout shoes.
All Far West athletes are welcome to come.

The Drifter time trial up hill run this Saturday will meet at the Negro Canyon trail head at 9:15am. There will also be a  carpool meeting at Truckee High School at 9:00am to drive up to the trailhead. There is no fee for any Far West members who want to come do it. It is about 1.3 miles and 900 feet elevation gain. We warm up up the trail about 1 mile to the start spot and the actual time trial starts at about 9:45 once we are all up at the start. Far West juniors are encouraged to come and race and adults are welcome too. It is a hard effort.
