UPDATE FROM JUNIOR NATIONALS

Monday, the first day of competition at the Junior Olympics, were the Freestyle Sprints. The highlight result of the day was Katrin Larusson who took 8th in the J2 girl competition. Making the quaterfinals were Laurel Fiddler who took 13th and Bria Riggs 24th for the J2 girls, Annika Taylor 22nd for the J1 girls, and Alex Hamilton 20th for the OJ boys. While the qualifiers and quarterfinals were held in the afternoon, the semis and finals were held under the lights in the evening.

J2 girls: Katrin Larusson 8th, Laurel Fiddler 13th, Bria Riggs 24th, Raylene Chew 34th, Danielle Nivinski 42nd, Gabi Rinne 51st, Camille Hartley 54th.
J2 boys: Dylan Syben was 40th, Jackson Rohlf 42nd, Sam Zabell 55th, Julien Bordes 56th, Isiah Cutler 57th, Jake Kamenetsky 61st, Shane Christian 62nd, Jackson Wood 65th.
J1 girls: Annika Taylor 22nd, Joelle Romo 68th, Melanie Swick 81st, Allie McDaniel 85th.
J1 boys: Jordan McElroy 50th, Alec Wiltz 53rd, Alex Kopytko 61st, Justin Ondry 67th, Branden Deeter 75th.
OJ boys: Alex Hamilton 20th, Austin Meng 32nd, Evan Dion 49th.
