Far West Nordic “Auctioneer”
There are some who believe that Mark Nadell has been involved in the cross country ski industry since the stone age – the LIGNOstone age, actually, in the days of wood skis and pine tar. One of the few around who can still remember when Swix first introduced “Special” and “Extra” waxes, Mark has been a cross country skier, ski rep, salesman, marketing specialist, graphic designer, Nordic administrator, and flamboyant polyester-wearing Auctioneer for over 35 years. Mark currently helps coach the local juniors and Truckee’s Alder Creek Middle School Nordic team, along with his “real job” of graphic designer for the outdoor industry.
