Tahoe Rim Tour 2011 Chelsea Holmes.jpg

The 32km Boulder Mountain Tour (BMT) is one of the classic American ski races. Starting up at Galena Lodge, (just North of Sun Valley, Idaho), this point-to-point course winds for 32km down the super scenic Wood River Valley. Because of the outstanding views, super fun, yet difficult course, professional administration, time-of-year, and outstanding weather (usually); the competition at this race is particularly strong. Many consider the BMT to be one of the most competitive races in the US. This year, 770 strong skiers finished the race this Saturday, February 5, 2011

Far West Nordic Farm Team racer Chelsea Holmes was 2nd woman, 1st 18-24 year old women, and 24th overall with a time of 1:13:15.2. Way to Go Chelsea!! Farm Team racer Matt Gelso was 9th overall, 4th 18-24 year old men with a time of 1:07:40.7.
