Ironman Kara LaPoint

karaironmanfinishFar West Nordic is so proud to congratulate Kara LaPoint on her amazing Ironman finish! First amateur, 75th overall finisher (including men and women)!! Kara is amazing! She was a swimmer before discovering a passion for nordic skiing. She had amazing results as a skier, racing in college and then raced for Far West’s original Elite Team all while always finding time to give back time to our juniors as a coach! Looks like she has been able to squeeze in a little time for her own training while out there inspiring the kids and everyone else around her. Overcoming an injury earlier this spring, she definitely rose to the top today and made us all very proud! She is an inspiration to all!
