This season, Far West is conducting a presentation on cross-country training principles. The goal of this presentation is to provide a medical and experience-based understanding of training principles that can be used as a foundation for individual training during the entire season. The presentation will be helpful to cross-country skiers of all ability levels, ranging from recreational skiers who want to optimize their fitness based on limited time availability to beginning and experienced racers who want to improve their performance and their endurance. It will be valuable to skiers of all ages from juniors to masters. The presentation will be conducted jointly by two of the area’s leading sports physiologists and coaches, Jeff Scholss and Andy Pasternak, MD.
